Fundraising concert success at Chapel

A concert at Rosslyn Chapel by vocal group ‘Shine’ has raised over £800 for Roslin Heritage Society to help purchase new equipment for their programme of talks.

Originally formed in 1998, Shine merges the talents of Corrina Hewat (The Unusual Suspects), Mary Macmaster (The Poozies) and Alyth
McCormack (The Chieftains) on three-part vocals and two electroharps. They lead the field with their hauntingly timeless yet arrestingly
modern arrangements of traditional Scottish, contemporary and original material.

The Countess of Rosslyn (left) presented a cheque to committee members of the Heritage Society – Anne Ritchie, Winnie Stevenson, Norma Hutchison and Bryden Ritchie.
