As part of the Silver Sounds performance series to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Rosslyn Chapel Trust, La Cascaïado presents a 30 minute lunchtime recital in the Chapel.
La Cascaïado is a French choir from l’Isle sur la Sorgue, a small town in Provence, near Avignon in the South of France.
2018 celebrated the 40th Twinning anniversary between l’Isle sur la Sorgue and Penicuik, with the Penicuik Community Choir visiting l’Isle sur la Sorgue for a couple of joint concerts.
As a return trip, the French choir have been invited to Penicuik by their Scottish friends. The choir will sing a variety of sacral, traditional and other tunes with their young new conductor, Theo Pastor.
