Chapel. With over one hundred of these foliate heads decorating the interior and exterior of the
building, these ancient symbolic motifs are clearly very important to the Chapel’s decorative
scheme. But what is their particular significance? Will we ever know?

In this presentation our guide will show you many of our celebrated green men (and green children
and green women) and will talk through some of the suggested theories as to their meaning. After
