Junior Guides prepare for busy winter

After weeks of rehearsals, the Chapel’s new Junior Guides are ready to welcome school groups over the next six months.

The guides, from Primary 7 at Roslin Primary School, will perform a short play for visiting schools, telling the story of the Chapel, and then guide them round the building to complete a quiz.

Other visitors are welcome to join the audience on their performance days but please note that the usual 11am talk will not take place that day.

Beccy Angus, Learning and Outreach Assistant, said: ‘The dress rehearsal is over, costumes sorted, and we are ready for the series of performances to come. The Junior Tour Guides have been great during rehearsals, working amazingly hard to make sure they remember their lines and their facts. This is a fantastic partnership between the Chapel and Roslin Primary School and I’m really pleased to be working with them. We can’t wait for the performances to get underway!’
