Recent conservation work being carried out to the pinnacles at Rosslyn Chapel have revealed a selection of carved hearts.
These designs were carved in an area that was hidden from view for almost 600 years!
Why would they have been carved in such a position? Who were they carved by? Who were they carved for?
These newly discovered carvings only add to the list of questions about the Chapel that we simply do not have the answers to.
