Rosslyn Chapel’s Junior Tour Guides’ programme has been launched for 2015. Over the coming months, local schools will be invited to visit the Chapel and hear about some of its history and legends from the Chapel’s own Junior Guides.
Set up in 2010, the programme is interactive guiding by children, for children. The Learning team at Rosslyn Chapel Trust work with Karen McKenzie from Illuminate UK and Roslin Primary School to create an exciting performance and quiz. Schools from around Midlothian are invited to join these guided tours free of charge, as a way to help local children to explore and understand the chapel and its many stories.
The Junior Guides are all in P7 of Roslin Primary School and have spent the last few weeks learning lines, trying on costumes and rehearsing for visiting schools. Local schools interested in visiting should email [email protected].
