A Photo Partnership

Images from Camera Clubs in Musselburgh and Gothenburg

The images in this exhibition are the result of a collaboration between Musselburgh Camera Club, in East Lothian and Mölnlycke Fotoklubb, based in Mölnlycke on the outskirts of Gothenburg in Sweden.

The cooperation between the two camera clubs began around 2019, starting when two former members of the Musselburgh Club moved to Sweden. Since then, the clubs have enjoyed joint activities online, such as photo competitions, discussions and presentations. Seven Musselburgh members visited Gothenburg in 2019, and eight members enjoyed a reciprocal visit to Musselburgh for a long weekend in the middle of May 2026, when these photos were taken.

Musselburgh Camera Club originally began life in the 1960s as the Scottish Electricity Board Camera Club. It now has approximately 35 members and meets at the Fisherrow Centre in Musselburgh. Mölnlycke Fotoklubb was founded in 1973 and has approximately 45 members. Both clubs cater to all abilities.
