New exterior tours led by Summer Apprentice Guides

Visitors to Rosslyn Chapel are in for an extra treat this summer, with the introduction of new exterior tours, led by local children and young people.
The tours have been developed for the Chapel’s Summer Apprentice Guides, in collaboration with heritage drama specialists Illuminate UK, and will take place on Wednesdays throughout the summer holidays.
The Summer Apprentice Guides, who are aged between 11 and 18, will be in character and costume and will lead visitors around the outside of the Chapel, sharing some of the building’s history and pointing out key stone carvings. The tours are included in the Chapel’s admission charge but booking on the day will be necessary, as the number of participants on tours will be limited.
