A regular visitor since he was a kitten, William the Chapel Cat became a firm favourite with tens of thousands of visitors. He could often be found sleeping inside the Chapel on one of the pews.
This enamel pin badge is based on a painting of William by local artist, Grace Maran who was inspired by William’s strong character & the beauty of Rosslyn Chapel. William passed away peacefully on the 25th of August 2021 at the age of 17.
