Welcome from the Earl and Countess of Rosslyn

Welcome to Rosslyn Chapel, which has been in the ownership of our family since its foundation in 1446 and which is still used today as a place of worship. We hope that you will enjoy the rich complexity of its history and architecture.

In 1995, we established the Rosslyn Chapel Trust, a registered charity, to oversee the continuing programme of conservation at the Chapel. In later years we added to the Trust’s responsibilities the care of Rosslyn Castle and Collegehill House, the 17th century former Inn adjacent to the Chapel, together with parts of Roslin Glen.

By visiting Rosslyn, or by staying at the Castle or at Collegehill House, you are helping us to care for these most remarkable historic buildings and their beautiful surroundings.
